What is MultiMediaCart? Customers can shop for media products, preview them, and place the item in their online shopping cart. They then checkout, paying with any major credit card or PayPal. After the payment is processed, the customer can view or hear the content on demand, almost immediately. MultiMediaCart opens a window and the purchased media is consumed immediately, inside the appropriate player or content page. The actual content is streamed from the media server to the customer (as shown in the above diagram), so media traffic never traverses the MultiMediaCart site.
