Setup of a pay per view or pay per minute product is easy. After assigning a product name, SKU number and price.

Then publishers use a special tab inside of Virtuemart to assign media parameters to the product, including the target URL of the video, audio or other media file; see the screen shot below for a look at the tab.

The publisher can open content in the same window or a new window. The cart supports its built in player, the JW Player, and any other media player. It automatically detects the type of object to be delivered on demand, then assigns it to a default player. If preview mode is used, publisher can permit time-restricted preview to the target media, so that window will close automatically after the prescribed number of seconds. The preview window can be set to the exact size the publisher desires, and can also be unrestricted. If the preview mode is not used, a seperate preview link can be supplied, or publisher can opt to have no preview link.
